The Early Bird Catches the Worm!!

To start my Mediterranean Keto Diet, you will wake up early five days a week and drink coffee with full-fat half and half. You will use the extra hour in the morning to do your challenging mental work and do a quick 20 minute Pilates workout…… Then around 8 am-9am, you will drink Miso broth to satisfy your hungry…… The savory and saltiness of the broth will take your hungry away for a measly 20 calories…..

Your miso broth will be a cup with two bouillon cubes and one TB miso with a cup of boiling water. Do not drink miso broth if on a salt-restricted diet. All morning you will drink lots of water, hot tea, cold tea, and sparkling water. No calories are allowed in your beverages such as sugar or honey. You should use at least one lemon a day in your sparkling water for the vitamin C.

For your late lunch, you will eat a delicious, satisfying Mediterranean Keto Salad. You will generously drizzle your salad with homemade vinaigrette dressing or any store bought dressing with no carbs. You will avoid adding any carbs or beans. Build your salad from mixed greens and fresh spinach, avocado, peppers, olives, mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, artichokes, and broccoli. Top the salad with a protein such as shrimp, tuna, salmon, anchovies, hard boiled eggs, chicken or turkey…… A small sprinkle of turmeric, nutritional yeast, and sliced almonds will make your salad into a power house of immunity boosting ingredients that prevent cancer and fight off viruses such as COVID……. A little feta, goat, or parmesan cheese adds to the savory flavors…..

Some ideas from my blog for dinner are: Polo Loco, Asian salmon, brisket, roasted chicken, turkey meatballs, Keto chili, Fusion chicken stir fry, and lamb meatballs…… Short on time, grab a roasted chicken, blacken some red and yellow peppers, top with the roasted chicken and some queso cheese dip…..
