Famous Asian Marinade for the Most Moist, Delicious Chicken Ever!!
Famous Asian Marinade for the Most Moist and Delicious Chicken Ever!!
Marinating your chicken, pork, fish, or shellfish will keep the meat moist and delicious when grilling. Also, the meat will be more healthy with the added sesame seeds, ginger, garlic, onions, and cilantro! Making the marinade is easy, just make sure to make the marinade first, reserve some in a dish for brushing on as you grill. You may also brush the marinade on veggies, onions, and corn to make them extra yummy!! My Asian marinade has testosterone boosting super ingredients: sesame seeds, garlic, and ginger which will help you to correct hormonal imbalances and lose belly fat!
Equipment
- 1 George Forman Electric Grill I love my George Forman electric grill!! I can use it in the garage if raining or cold, and it cleans up really easy. Perfect for camping or RVing also!!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup olive oil May use peanut oil or avocado oil.
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions May use red or sweet onions.
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 TB Sriracha
- 2 TB honey May use brown sugar.
- 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
- 1 TB minced fresh ginger May use 1 tsp dry ginger. I like to keep a container of minced ginger in my fridge ( the fresh ginger goes bad quickly )
- 1 TB minced fresh garlic May use 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 TB dried basil or 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2-3 TB toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a shallow glass casserole dish.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of marinade for brushing on the food as you grill. Make sure to refrigerate the marinade.
- Add the meat you want to use: chicken tenders, chicken drumsticks, chicken thighs, pork chops, pork tenderloin, fish or shrimp.
- Add enough water to cover the meat.
- Let the meat marinade in your fridge for a few hours or overnight.
- Place on your grill and brush with more marinade and grill for 2-3 minutes per side for chicken tenders. I would suggest boiling chicken drumsticks first until almost cooked, then grill.
- When the meat is almost cooked, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
- May brush the marinade on your veggies or corn also!!
- I like to grill cauliflower and mushrooms by brushing on olive oil and McCormick vegetable seasoning.
