Ingredients
  

  • 10 organic chicken drum sticks
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne Add more if you like your chicken legs hot and spicy! This version is mild enough for children.
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garam masala optional
  • 1 tsp coriander Or 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 TB minced garlic
  • 1 TB minced ginger
  • 2 tsp turmeric

Instructions
 

  • Mix olive oil, one lemon juiced and zested and all of the spices in a oven proof casserole dish. Add the chicken legs and marinade for 2-8 hours, but not longer than 24 hours. Keep refrigerated.
  • Bake the chicken legs in the marinade in a 400 degree oven for 40 minutes, until completley cooked.
  • Grill the chicken legs for 5 minutes on each side until nicely brown at medium heat.
