Turmeric Grilled Chicken
Yummy turmeric grilled chicken legs are marinaded in cancer preventing turmeric to make a healthy, and delicious meal for your family.

Ingredients
- 10 organic chicken drum sticks
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lemon juiced and zested
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne Add more if you like your chicken legs hot and spicy! This version is mild enough for children.
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp garam masala optional
- 1 tsp coriander Or 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 TB minced garlic
- 1 TB minced ginger
- 2 tsp turmeric
Instructions
- Mix olive oil, one lemon juiced and zested and all of the spices in a oven proof casserole dish. Add the chicken legs and marinade for 2-8 hours, but not longer than 24 hours. Keep refrigerated.
- Bake the chicken legs in the marinade in a 400 degree oven for 40 minutes, until completley cooked.
- Grill the chicken legs for 5 minutes on each side until nicely brown at medium heat.
